Old Kent Stamps mission is simple: To provide quality items to the discriminating collector and dealer.
Old Kent Stamps inception began in 1980 when I began to hold public and mail sale auctions in the West Michigan area. I started the business because I had been interested in Philately since childhood. I saw this as an opportunity to give something back to the stamp collecting hobby. I was determined to provide quality material for all range of pocketbooks. I was insistent on working with the customers to provide risk free purchasing.
Today I provide three to four mail sale auctions a year, do daily offerings on eBay and KMPhilately. I attend several shows in the Great Lakes area as a dealer. I an a 30 + year member of the American Philatelic Society. I have been president of the Kent Philatelic Society, Greater Grand Rapids Stamp Club and the Kalamazoo Stamp Club. I played an important role in bringing the APS 2005 stamp show to Grand Rapids for the first time since 1956.The APS show in 2005 was a huge success. In August 2015 the national show was back in Grand Rapids. I had a booth at this show.
